Property Management Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are an expanding real estate company looking to add a Property Management Maintenance Technician to our team. Your main responsibility will be conducting maintenance inspections and performing regular work orders on our rented houses and apartments, keeping them in good condition while our residents are living in them.

This is a full-time position with compensation of $23-25 per hour
.

• Conduct maintenance inspections and perform regular work orders on rental properties.
• Collaborate with residents and coworkers to address maintenance needs and ensure safe, well-maintained units.
• Be on-call rotation for emergencies and after-hours, weekends and holidays as required.
• Fill out necessary paperwork (time cards, work orders, etc.).
• Operate as part of a team and independently to complete maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• Smartphone with ability to take and upload pictures.
• A valid driver’s license and basic tools.
• Pass a background and criminal check.
• Ability to show up on time and ready to work.
• Strong communication skills.
• Lifting of heavy materials; some demolition; basic plumbing; basic appliance and electrical repair; general maintenance and repairs; ability to troubleshoot various maintenance issues.
• Landscaping and trash cleanup.
• HVAC certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and perform maintenance tasks independently.
• Willing to be on-call rotation for emergency and after-hours, weekends and holidays.
• Have a basic set of hand and electric tools.
• Be willing to work across the city and metro areas.
