Required:
Kansas City Security License
- Shift Schedules:
- Tues – Sat, 11 pm – 7 am (Night shift)
- Tues – Sat, 7 am – 3 pm (Day shift)
- Prior experience as a dispatch representative and/or security command center operator is a plus!
- Must have a minimum of one year of prior security background.
- Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour.
- Must possess a valid Kansas City Security License.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

- Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
- Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
- Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitors’ arrival.
- Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
- Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
- Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking or possession of prohibited items.
- Respond to calls of distress, alarms or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
- Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
- Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
- Other duties as determined by operations.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Valid Kansas City Security License.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Minimum of one year of security experience.
- Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
- This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.
