Required:
Kansas City Security License

• Shift Schedules:
  • Tues – Sat, 11 pm – 7 am (Night shift)
  • Tues – Sat, 7 am – 3 pm (Day shift)
• Prior experience as a dispatch representative and/or security command center operator is a plus!
• Must have a minimum of one year of prior security background.
• Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour.
• Must possess a valid Kansas City Security License.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitors’ arrival.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking or possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties as determined by operations.

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid Kansas City Security License.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.
