Associate Sales Representative – Joint Replacement (Kansas City, KS) at Stryker

• Assist competitive, results‑oriented salespeople in promoting and selling Stryker products.
• Conduct product evaluations in the operating room (OR) and office settings.
• Support business development activities, track territory progress, and communicate effectively with Sales Representatives.
• Resolve product problems on‑site and educate medical staff.
• Provide exceptional service to customers.
• Maintain sample inventory with strong time management.
• Build lasting client relationships with key stakeholders.
• Learn or hone selling skills through coaching, mentoring support from Joint Replacement Sales Representatives and Managers.
• Work on‑call duties (evenings, weekends, holidays) as required by territory needs.
• Complete required trainings and certifications to maintain product expertise and readiness.

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree OR Medical Certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT) AND minimum 2 years of related experience.
• High School Diploma AND minimum 4 years of related experience.
• Minimum 4 years of active‑duties military service.

• Experience in medical related fields or B2B sales.
• Demonstrated team leadership experience.
• Sales or marketing internship.
• Collegiate extracurricular experience (e.g., student‑athletes, student government, fraternity/sorority leadership) demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and leadership.

• This position requires handling instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids. OSHA regulations apply and Stryker will provide a safe working environment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Fluency in written and spoken English required.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs; exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
