The Sales Manager Individual and Airline Travel, concentrates on business/leisure travel with National accounts, Local accounts and Airline Crews. The Sales Manager candidate should have demonstrated performance, a thorough understanding and competence in sales, account management functions and the hotel/business travel industry. Responsibilities include contract negotiations with corporate and airline partners, travel agencies, individual travel and wholesale groups. In your new role you will serve as the lead point of contact for your partners, identify new business opportunities with both existing and new customers, and develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients.

This role will require travel to major cities within market.

Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, presentations, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilization of Hyatt technology systems and excellent communication skills to coordinate customer service requirements with hotel operations staff as appropriate. The Sales Manager, Individual Travel, will also participate and may lead event meetings, sales and other staff meetings. The Sales Manager, Individual Travel, also works as a team member with the sales and catering staff and with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

The salary range for this position is $77,600 to $95,000. This is the pay range for this position that Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, Agency 360, Cvent
• Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
• Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
• Community involvement and/or professional association is highly regarded
