ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced technical sales executive, with a track record of identifying, cultivating and closing on new industrial accounts in industries including Heavy Equipment Operators, Container Port Operators, and Mines and Quarries.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify, develop and close new customer relationships
- Understand, communicate and demonstrate the value of our products
- Create strong business relationships with key individuals at all levels and functions within the customers’ organizations
- Implement and monitor product trials with clear performance criteria
- Maintain and grow customer relationships after initial sale, ensuring customer satisfaction and success with our products
- Maintain an active sales pipeline
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales KPIs
- Coordinate and attend trade shows and events
Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong value-based sales skills
- Experience opening new customer relationships in greenfield markets
- Working knowledge of heavy machine operations and vehicle electronics technology
- Track record of technology sales to heavy equipment operators
- Demonstrated ability to sell into complex accounts with multiple decision makers
- Experience using data from CRM systems to guide and manage sales activities and performance
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing sales in related industries
- Advanced level of technical and IT literacy
- BS/BA degree in related field
- Greater Kansas City area
- Customer travel required (~50%)
