Stockroom Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organized and dependable Stockroom Coordinator to join our home furnishings store. If you enjoy creating organized spaces, assisting customers, and supporting a dynamic team, this could be the perfect role for you.

We offer a full‑time position with flexible scheduling. Preferred hours are Saturdays 10 am‑6 pm and Mondays 8 am‑6 pm
; other weekdays may be adjusted within 10 am‑6 pm.

Health benefits including dental and vision are available after 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom: ensure accessories, florals, and furniture pieces are neatly arranged and easily accessed.
  • Assist customers with loading larger home items into their vehicles with care and efficiency.
  • Help staff move furniture within the store or prepare items for customer pick‑up.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking new inventory, ensuring items are properly accounted for and organized.
  • Prepare merchandise for shipping while tracking deliveries in our system (basic computer skills required).
  • Help with placing products onto the sales floor to keep the store well‑stocked and organized.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure smooth store operations and assist with tasks as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to keep the stockroom and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift and move home furnishings and accessories, typically 25‑50 pounds (comfortably lifting up to 70 pounds when needed and sometimes lifting larger pieces with assistance).
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and use a ladder to reach large shelving.
  • A positive attitude with excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, stay self‑motivated, and manage time efficiently.
  • Previous experience in retail or stockroom organization is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to support both customers and staff with a friendly, can‑do attitude.

If you thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and have a passion for organization and customer service, we’d love to hear from you!
