The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations. The Associate acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented, prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner, and maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.

• Possess aptitude to gain adequate product knowledge.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers positively.
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
• Properly set up and prepare event table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF forms.

This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, though the company may change responsibilities as needed.

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training preferred or equivalent combination.

Computer

Skills:

Proficiency in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.

Certificates, Licences, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.

Physical Demands: The associate will be regularly required to stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb/manual lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), push and pull wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.

Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming required; retailer dress code applies.

English primary; bilingual may be required.
