• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to proactively set, maintain and adjust sales floor merchandise displays and keep organized backroom space.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Comply with all federal, state and local adult beverage laws as they apply to your business.
• Use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely, report hazards, and participate in safety practices.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while maintaining compliance with laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to address their specific needs and thank them for shopping at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery only).
• Previous food or grocery experience is preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly; attention to detail.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within set time frames.

• Capable of lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds; occasional climbing ladders.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance is necessary.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 34°F to
  -10°F as needed and in spaces where common allergens may be present.
• Ability to operate in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements during certain duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
