Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club. Help shape a member’s experience by keeping parking lots, restrooms, and floors clean. This role requires being on your feet and moving throughout the shift, with a positive attitude to ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

Maintain safety and cleanliness by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. Perform safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, and report unsafe conditions to Management.

Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment in accordance with Company procedures.

Maintain a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as needed, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and other waste per the Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies, rotate stock, store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish low supplies.
