• AM SHIFT: 5:30 AM – 12:30 PM

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist for hotel restaurant.
• Understand food cost and portion control without sacrificing quality.
• Assist with quality and presentation issues, cleanliness, and organization of kitchen and restaurant when necessary.
• Accommodate guests’ special requests.
• Adhere to proper food handling and safety guidelines at all times, including inventory and control.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all Food and Beverage items as directed.
• Maintain and enforce sanitation laws and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen area.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with Guests, clients, co‑workers, and management.
• Adhere to proper grooming and dress codes for the department.
• Carry out hotel emergency procedures.
• Perform all other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.

  Must be able to understand the proper use of kitchen equipment and verbal instructions.

• Food preparation, ability to follow recipes, adhere to all food safety guidelines, and excellent customer service skills.
• Operate equipment such as, but not limited to, oven, grill, stove, dishwasher, and utensils.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• AM Shifts are available.
