Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) - Ortho / Neuro Trauma (Night Shift)
Location: Kansas City, MO 64132
Schedule: Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Range: $35.65 - $47.64 (based on experience)
- Night & Weekend Differential: $4.00/hour
- Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case basis)

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to provide frontline clinical leadership for a high-acuity Ortho / Neuro / Trauma Med-Surg unit. This role combines hands-on patient care with charge-level coordination to ensure exceptional patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and staff support during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during assigned shifts
- Support admissions, discharges, and throughput to ensure safe and efficient transitions
- Serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for bedside nursing staff
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery in alignment with quality and safety standards
- Promote a patient-first culture and support service recovery when needed
- Assist with staffing adjustments based on census and acuity
- Support staff development, coaching, and onboarding
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes and engagement
- Oversee supply utilization and equipment management
- Current acute-care Med-Surg RN experience (Required)
- Preferred:
Charge RN experience in acute Med-Surg - OR Minimum 2 years of recent bedside Med-Surg RN experience (must be current)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or Compact)
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- BLS (AHA) - required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS - required within 30 days of hire
- Demonstrated ability to manage high patient volume and acuity
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
