Registered Nurse

Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to support occupational health and drug & alcohol testing programs. This role focuses on clinical review, documentation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and communication with tested individuals, employers, and medical providers.

• Conduct clinical review of drug & alcohol testing and occupational health documentation
• Interpret and report results in accordance with established procedures and regulations
• Communicate with donors/employees by phone to review documentation and clarify medical history
• Determine whether legitimate medical explanations exist for non-negative results
• Review physical exam and medical records for completeness and accuracy
• Follow up with clinics, medical providers, and employers to obtain required documentation
• Review DOT-related medical information and return-to-work eligibility, as applicable
• Provide status updates to employers on cases under review
• Identify documentation errors and support process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality and compliance
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate’s degree in Nursing
• 3+ years of nursing experience (occupational health, hospital, or outpatient setting)
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Comfortable communicating by phone with employees and providers

• Occupational health or clinical review experience
• Call center or phone triage experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• COHN or Case Management certification
• Fast-paced, detail-oriented clinical support role
• Emphasis on compliance, quality, and professional communication
