· Patient Ratios : 1:4, 1:5
· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :
Unit Secretary and PCTs
· Type of equipment : traction, fixators, cooling equipment
· Documentation system:
Meditech
· Scheduling requirements: 3 12s, 3 weekend shifts per schedule period
· Floating policy:
Contract labor is first to float. Would float to the other Med Surg level of care units (General MS, Nephrology, Neuro/Trauma)
· Patient Experience requirements:
Bedside shift report, hourly rounding

Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: RN license, BLS
Advanced skills needed: Ortho experience, Tele, NIH
Procedures performed on unit: Post op knee, hip and shoulder replacements, Trauma patients, some Neuro overflow – NIH is helpful
Certifications Required:
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
