Are you ready to be a vital part of a dynamic surgical services team? We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse passionate about providing exceptional care, collaborating with an excellent team, and making a real difference in the lives of surgical patients.
What You'll Be Doing:- Caring for Surgical Patients: From acute to chronic conditions, providing tailored, top-notch care.
- Assessing & Planning: Using your nursing expertise to assess patients, plan care, and deliver interventions in the fast-paced OR environment.
- Mentoring & Training: Mentoring new nurses, guiding them through orientation, skills training, and testing.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Working closely with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care and improve surgical programs.
- Research &
Education:
Contributing to research, educational initiatives, and program evaluations. - Supervising Students: Sharing your expertise by supervising nursing students in the OR.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Missouri RN license or eligibility
- Current BCLS card
- Radiology certification or training if the position involves radiologic functions
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- RN Specialty Certification
- Passion for patient care and surgical services
- Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration and mentoring
- Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- An RN with a passion for surgery and patient care
- Strong knowledge of nursing processes and handling diverse patient needs
- A collaborative, energetic team player
- A mentor who enjoys sharing knowledge
- Adherence to Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational guidelines
