Registered Nurse II NICU

This position involves functioning independently and being accountable for utilizing the nursing process across various settings, including virtual care, community hospital, hospital in your home, and ambulatory surgery centers (ASC). The nurse will coordinate patient care, delegate tasks appropriately, serve as a resource and leader within the unit or department, and demonstrate commitment to patient advocacy, ethical care, and evidence-based practices.

• Monitor intelligent software and vital signs for changes and trends in patient condition.
• Communicate effectively in tense situations.
• Partner with bedside staff to address patient concerns and changes.
• Provide early detection of potential issues to reduce complications.

• Manage care within established nursing standards.
• Triages patients and prioritizes needs with a caring attitude.
• Initiates care to stabilize patients and collaborates with physicians.
• Collects patient history, vital signs, and laboratory samples.

• Provide in-home nursing services and patient assessments.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families, document visits and interventions.

• Provide professional nursing care following established standards.
• Perform telephone triage, patient flow management, and care coordination.
• Delegate tasks based on competencies and scope of practice.

Less than 1 year of applicable experience, Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross), Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree.
