Saint Luke’s North in Kansas City is seeking a Pre‑Op/PACU RN to join their Perianesthesia team. In this role, you will provide pre‑procedural and post‑procedural care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures in the Main Operating Room, hospital‑based GI suites, and select cases within the Radiology Department.

Full‑Time Day position. The RN will take call and must respond to a 30‑minute callback. The team is tight‑knit, collaborative, customer‑focused, and dedicated to providing an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities- Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.
- Utilize the nursing process.
- Perform patient care, delegate care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff.
- Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
- Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree (or higher).
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
- Strong critical thinking, compassionate, solution‑focused, and commitment to continuous improvement.
