Under the general direction of the Cardiology Nurse Manager, coordinate and provide patient care and assume individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care as related to the Cardiology Department. Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs/EKG, perform continual patient assessment during the patient's stay in the Cardiology Department, document accurate nursing records and patient data, coordinate patient teaching and post‑procedure assessment, perform emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation, assist with in‑service education, and collect and assemble data for database, outcome analysis and performance improvement.

Respond within 30 minutes when on stand‑by and be able to assist at other system Cath labs as needed.
