Pre/Post Registered Nurse PRN
Creekwood Surgery Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as a Pre-Op/Post-Op RN. The RN will plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and implement all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients, ensuring the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing standards, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care.
The RN cares for patients of all ages from 1 month to geriatric.
Position requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings may be required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and implement nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients.
- Ensure compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care.
- Provide care for all ages ranging from 1 month to geriatric.
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Active RN license in the State.
- ACLS certification required.
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Can prioritize and organize workload to meet patient unit needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
