SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) in the outpatient Oncology Clinic is responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. The position is Monday‑Friday, no weekend or holiday work, with four 10‑hour days. Duties include coordinating and providing nursing care to patients, triaging patient phone calls, and offering support and education to patients and their families. The RN works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
Experience- 2‑year clinic experience preferred
- Oncology Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certified or complete certification within 12 months of hire
- Written and verbal communication
- Exceptional telephone skills
- Organization
- Collaboration with oncology team and patients
- Required:
Registered Nurse (RN) State of Missouri, Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA - Preferred:
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
- Required:
Associate’s – Nursing - Preferred:
Bachelor’s – Nursing
