Summary
Under the direction of the Nurse Director/charge nurse, patients and families are provided competent holistic care based on the nursing process.
EXPERIENCE: One year medical/surgical experience; one year critical care/telemetry preferred.
SPECIAL
SKILLS:
Experienced nurses must have ACLS upon hire, while graduate nurses and nurses new to Critical Care must attain ACLS within 12 months of hire/transition. One year Tele experience preferred.
OTHER: Basic computer skills.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) within 1 year of hire. Preferred: CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
EDUCATION: Required:
Associates - Nursing. Preferred:
Bachelors - Nursing.
