SUMMARY
SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the outpatient Oncology Clinic is responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. This position is Monday-Friday, no weekend or holidays and works four 10-hour days. This role involves coordinating and providing nursing care to patients, triaging patient phone calls, and offering support and education to patients and their families. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
2-year clinic experience preferred, ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certified OR complete the certification within 12 months of hire.
SPECIAL SKILLSWritten and verbal communication, exceptional telephone skills, organization, and collaboration with oncology team and patients.
LICENSE/CERTRequired:
RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) Preferred: OCN (Oncology Ceritified Nurse)
