This bonus is for eligible candidates and cannot be combined with other bonuses or HCA loans/scholarships.

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with the department’s needs and the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and care‑team members, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Performs exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests. Strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
• Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications, and possible side effects, and follow‑up measures. Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
• Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about non‑medicinal follow‑up measures, such as healthy diet and exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. Prepares patients and families for future self‑management.

• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma
• Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Nursing Core Course, or TNCC Instructor – must be obtained within one year of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support – must be obtained within one year of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
