OverviewVisting Nurse Association (VNA) is a home hospice provider offering compassionate, end‑of‑life care in patients’ homes. Skilled nurses focus on pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, and guiding patients and families through the hospice journey. Interdisciplinary teams—nurses, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers—work together to maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life during a patient’s final days.
Responsibilities- Manage pain and symptoms, providing skilled nursing care and monitoring changes in condition.
- Coordinate care with physicians and the hospice team.
- Educate and support family caregivers, offering emotional and spiritual support.
- Ensure patients’ end‑of‑life wishes are respected and documented.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to preserve quality of life and dignity.
- Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- On‑call: 2‑3 nights each week (potentially).
- Sign‑on bonus: $3,000 paid in two increments (6 months and 1 year of employment).
