Overview
The Full Employment Council, Inc., a leading non-profit employment and training organization, is seeking to fill the following position: CAREER NAVIGATOR. Openings in:
Kansas City, Northland, Independence.
- Provide career counseling/recruitment services for potential FEC clientele.
- Assist and guide clients in developing training and employment strategies that lead to career-oriented employment.
- Provide pre- and post-employment assistance to help customers achieve their goals.
- Conduct overviews and testing assessment of various FEC clienteles; provide follow-up to ensure retention in training programs and employment results.
- Provide information on FEC programs.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in work experience at the leadership or functional level, dependent upon the position.
- Experience in career/vocational counseling preferred.
- Computer skills are essential (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
- Must be able to work in a culturally diverse work environment; must have excellent references; must be able to pass a background check; must have reliable transportation and auto insurance.
