Overview
Faulkner’s Ranch is looking for an experienced, creative, energetic, and organized Marketing Manager (Part-Time) to help reach sales and attendance goals! This role is perfect for someone who aligns with our values of family, fun, love for traditions, and Western-roots—and thrives in a family-owned, fast-paced environment.
This is a hands-on role that blends design coordination, digital marketing, ticketing platforms, and big-picture ideas to support our private and public events.
What You’ll Be Doing- Build and manage Ticket Spice event pages
- Coordinate and manage graphic design projects & marketing materials
- Create & maintain seasonal campaigns including emails, texts, ads, event listings, drip campaigns, cross-promotion handouts & local business visits for promotions (chambers, apartments, libraries, etc).
- Create, track and report on budgets
- Maintain and track the donation requests
- Compile and present marketing reports
- Coordinate with the sales team to reach financial goal
- Maintain online listings and memberships (Visit KC, Chambers, etc.)
- Monitor and support online reviews and reputation platforms
- Coordinate with Social Media Manager
- Collaborate with SEO partner (to include blog management)
- Assist with basic website content edits
- Build relationships with local media and community partners
- Bring fresh ideas to the table and help tackle fun projects we’ve been wanting to launch
- Understanding different customer avatars and using that data to market directly to those customers
- Experience and/or education in marketing and communications
- Strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Ability to learn and work with our software/ticketing systems (i.e. Open Table and Ticket Spice)
- Strong written and visual communication skills
- Craft messaging that is consistent with the Faulkner’s brand and apply the brand voice across all marketing channels
- Proficient in basic Microsoft tools (i.e., Word, Excel)
- Basic eye for and knowledge of current marketing trends
- High School Diploma
- A positive, can-do attitude and comfort working in a family business environment
- Completion of a 4 year college degree
- Experience with drip campaigns
- Familiarity with SEO basics and website content management
- Experience in events, attractions, hospitality, or seasonal businesses
- Experience managing online reviews or reputation tools
- Existing relationships with local media or community organizations
- Status: Part-Time, Year-Round
- Schedule: Flexible, appx. 15-20 hours/week
- Location: On-site and/or hybrid as needed
