Role Description
Are you detail-oriented with a creative eye and a knack for compliance? Greenlight is looking for a full-time Labeling Specialist to join us at our corporate office in Overland Park, KS!
In this role, you’ll take the lead in crafting and managing product labels for our Greenlight-branded cannabis products. From fonts to fine print, you'll make sure every label is not only visually sharp but also fully compliant with state regulations and our internal brand standards.
You'll play a key role in making sure our products hit the shelves looking great, saying the right things, and meeting all the rules. It’s where creativity meets compliance—and your attention to detail makes all the difference.
Software- Adobe Illustrator
- Seagull Bartender
- Update and maintain product labels, including text, graphics, and specifications.
- Ensure labels comply with relevant state cannabis regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with teams such as creative, compliance, cultivation, and manufacturing to meet labeling requirements.
- Manage labeling activities throughout the product lifecycle, including creation, approval, and implementation.
- Proofread labeling artwork to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand integrity.
- Track progress, manage timelines, and coordinate labeling changes.
- Maintain labeling-related documentation, including specifications and change control records.
- Identify and resolve labeling-related issues.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in labeling content and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with labeling design software and relevant regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve labeling-related issues.
- Experience in Quality Assurance or Product Development to support labeling functions effectively.
