FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $19.00 - $21.50 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Work Schedule
This position is for 3rd Shift
, with working hours from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
, Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be required to support production needs, including occasional overtime.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Production Operator at FUCHS, you’ll play a hands‑on role in delivering high‑quality products that keep industries moving. You’ll work in a safety‑first, team‑oriented environment where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence truly matter.
Key responsibilities include:
- Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Safely operate forklifts or pallet jacks to retrieve and move packaging materials.
- Label and fill packaging items in compliance with company, DOT, and OSHA standards.
- Accurately measure and weigh chemicals into designated containers, following detailed instructions.
- Scan packaging items, load trucks, and manage inventory using company systems.
- Complete batch tickets and manufacturing logs to ensure full compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times.
- Report any damaged or missing inventory to supervisors promptly.
- Support other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and follow manufacturing work instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a safe, clean workspace.
- Good judgment and adaptability in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Willingness to operate a sit‑down forklift (training provided).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures, from hot to cold.
- Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
