Position:
Rental Production Manager – 100% onsite role at Kansas City, Missouri.

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Rental Production Manager for a mission‑driven organization dedicated to advancing affordable housing initiatives.

The Rental Production Manager will oversee financial processes and construction disbursements for multifamily affordable housing projects. This role manages allocations, monitors project compliance, and supports the development team to ensure successful completion of initiatives. The position also provides leadership to a small team of underwriters while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage construction loan draw processing and financial reconciliation for multifamily housing projects.
• Oversee allocation of low‑income housing tax credits and review related project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with program regulations, budgets, and timelines.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a small team of underwriters and staff.
• Serve as a resource and liaison for developers, contractors, and external partners.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and data to support project administration and continuous improvement.

• Experience in construction lending, underwriting, escrow, or contractor accounting/bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with multifamily housing development, tax credit programs, or affordable housing finance.
• Strong project management, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
