Corporate & Individual Giving Manager The Children’s Place in Kansas City is now hiring for the full-time position of Corporate & Individual Giving Manager within the development department.
Do you love connecting with donors and making a difference for young children? The Children’s Place is seeking a dedicated Corporate & Individual Giving Manager to join our development team to raise funds to support our misison.
Our mission is to help children and families heal from life’s deepest hurts. We work to restore childhood. We tirelessly pursue, find and celebrate healing for young children in our community who have faced trauma, enabling children to lead happy, healthy, hopeful lives.

WhatYou'll Do
- Develop and implement strategies for annual giving, major gifts, corporate partnerships, and planned giving.
• Build and manage a donor pipeline through research, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Collaborate with leadership and committees to increase philanthropic revenue and deepen donor engagement.
• Serve as liaison to the former auxiliary board members, keeping them connected to our mission.
- Experience:
3–5 years of fundraising experience, including donor cultivation and stewardship. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field (Master’s preferred; CFRE a plus). - Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Raisers Edge and MS Office, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality. - Attributes:
