Maintenance Technician Manager

Overview

Location: Cable Dahmer Chevrolet of Kansas City

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $20-$25

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the facility and grounds are clean, safe, and fully operational. This role includes general maintenance duties, basic repairs, and seasonal tasks such as snow removal and lot upkeep. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, and takes pride in keeping the property in top condition.

• Perform routine building maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor areas, service bays, and common areas.
• Operate snow plow and other outdoor equipment during winter months to ensure safe, accessible lots.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility and report any repair needs.
• Assist with setting up or moving furniture, equipment, and signage as needed.
• Replace light bulbs, filters, and other small parts as part of preventive maintenance.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in safe, working condition.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests from staff.

• Previous Maintenance Or Facilities Experience Preferred.
• Ability to safely operate snow plows, power tools, and other maintenance equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems a plus.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
