Logistics Coordinator

At Holganix, we revolutionize the way the world grows by manufacturing and distributing a liquid microbial solution (a probiotic for soil) to farmers, landscapers, golf courses, and performance turf users across America and Canada. Our solution increases soil health, improves crop yield, and reduces the need for fertilizer, pesticides, and water. It also supports carbon sequestration in soil and improves the crop's carbon intensity score.

We are seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator with experience in Fishbowl inventory management software to join our team. This role is essential to ensure smooth operations, efficient supply chain management, and outstanding service to our partners and customers.

• Order Fulfillment:
  Coordinate order processing by entering relevant information into CRM and ERP software systems. Confirm with the Sales team that the order is processed and forwarded to the warehouse. Organize shipping schedules according to customer needs. Work with freight carriers to schedule LTL and FTL shipments.
• Coordinate shipping and delivery schedules:
  Ensure timely and accurate shipments. Contact customers to gather information and communicate expected delivery dates. Prepare shipments to external clients or offsite facilities with meticulous paperwork.
• Problem Solving:
  Address logistical challenges with a creator mindset, proposing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
• Record Keeping:
  Maintain detailed records of events during logistics processes, including items leaving the warehouse, deliveries, and customer requests. File disputes with carriers for damaged items. Compare delivered products against packing slips and note discrepancies for 100% accuracy.

  Work closely with production, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics with organizational goals. Support production by managing materials as needed. Participate in regular inventory checks, including cycle counts. Take on additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

• Proven experience with Fishbowl inventory management software or similar.
• 2+ years in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on win-win outcomes.
