- Friday 8am-4:30pm for training (1-2 months)
- Then Wednesday
- Saturday 10:30am-9pm CST - 40 hour work weeks
Pay range: 18-20/hr

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join the Legal Emergency Response Team of one of our leading telecommunications clients. This team is responsible for responding to legal demands for customer data and information, including subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, and preservation letters.
Responsibilities- Manage and triage a high-volume request queue (~7,500 requests/week; ~1,500 IDs/day).
- Review incoming legal demands and route them to appropriate case specialist teams.
- Analyze documents submitted by law enforcement, attorneys, and pro se litigants.
- Ensure proper intake and handling of sensitive legal documents using in-house systems.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to the National Security Agreement (NSA) standards.
- Support additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
- Prior exposure to legal terminology and document handling.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive, confidential information.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to remain composed when reviewing documents that may contain graphic content.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in typing (minimum 45 WPM and 5,000 keystrokes/hour).
- Formal training or experience in reading legal demands is preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Must be a quick learner, goal-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
$18/hr to $20/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
