Bankruptcy and Secured Transactions Associate

We’re a unique corporate and business boutique law firm with growing offices in Kansas City, MO and Joplin, MO, looking to add a Bankruptcy and Secured Transactions Associate to our team.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in bankruptcy law and secured transactions, with a strong preference for hands‑on Chapter 11 experience. Candidates should be able to work collaboratively on complex, sophisticated matters with other attorneys.

• Advise and represent creditor and debtor clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings
• Negotiate, draft, and assist with secured transactions and related commercial matters
• Work closely with colleagues on multifaceted transactions, restructurings, and creditor/debtor issues
• Work on various corporate and transactional matters from time to time
• Must be licensed in Missouri or Kansas
