Job Title: Sr. Commercial Lines Insurance Account Executive, Transportation focus
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (1x a week in office)
Summary:
Our client, a Nationally recognized P&C Broker, is seeking an experienced Sr. Commercial Lines Account Executive dedicated to delivering comprehensive risk management solutions and exceptional service to our commercial clients within the Transportation vertical. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced AE to join us in supporting and expanding our client relationships. Ideal individual will have experience managing middle & largest market accounts, experience servicing Transportation clients and Cargo.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and service a book of commercial accounts, with a focus on clients in the Transportation industry.
- Advise clients on appropriate insurance coverage, with a specific emphasis on property risks and exposures.
- Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, audits, and certificates of insurance.
- Work closely with producers, underwriters, and carriers to negotiate terms and ensure optimal coverage solutions.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewal summaries.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in agency management systems (e.g., Epic, AMS
360). - Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and risk management support.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of commercial lines insurance experience.
- Strong understanding of the unique exposures faced by energy-related businesses.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Familiarity with agency management systems and carrier portals.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
