Data and Analytics - Technical Program Manager; Data Architecture Background

We are seeking a highly technical Project Manager with deep expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), data architecture, and modern data platforms. This role requires a unique combination of technical knowledge and project management excellence to lead complex data integration and MDM initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams while maintaining hands-on understanding of the technical architecture and implementation details.

• Analyze source files, data structures, and system architectures to understand data lineage and dependencies
• Map technical implementations to business outcomes and strategic objectives
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and translate business needs into technical specifications
• Create comprehensive requirements documentation including data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and integration specifications
• Lead end-to-end Informatica MDM implementation projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
• Understand and guide MDM data models, matching and merge strategies, hierarchy management, and data quality rules
• Coordinate MDM integrations with upstream source systems and downstream consuming applications
• Oversee data stewardship workflows, data governance processes, and master data quality initiatives
• Manage MDM configuration, customization efforts, and version upgrades

• Understand and articulate Data Vault 2.0 methodology including hubs, links, satellites, and business vault concepts
• Define requirements for consumption layer (data marts, aggregations, dimensional models) to support analytics and reporting needs
• Collaborate on semantic layer design to enable self-service analytics and consistent business definitions
• Ensure proper data lineage, auditability, and historization across all architectural layers
• Coordinate between data engineering teams working on raw vault, business vault, and information marts

• Create and manage technical requirements for Snowflake data warehouse implementations
• Understand Snowflake architecture including virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, stages, and data sharing capabilities
• Define requirements for Snowflake security, role-based access control (RBAC), and data governance
• Coordinate data pipeline development including ETL/ELT processes, data integration patterns, and performance optimization
• Work with teams on Snowflake-specific features such as time travel, zero-copy cloning, and data masking

• Design and articulate requirements for Customer 360, Product 360, and Account 360 views using MDM capabilities
• Define golden record creation, data consolidation strategies, and survivorship rules
• Manage complex hierarchy implementations including organizational hierarchies, product hierarchies, and location hierarchies
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure consistent entity definitions and relationships across the enterprise

• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders, product management, and IT development teams
• Present technical concepts and project status to non-technical audiences using clear, business-focused language
• Lead cross-functional meetings including requirements workshops, design reviews, and status update sessions

• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
  
  Maintain and prioritize product backlog with clear, well-defined user stories and technical tasks
• Identify, track, and resolve project impediments and blockers proactively

• Informatica MDM: 3+ years hands-on experience with Informatica MDM (any version) including data modeling, configuration, and integration
• Data Vault 2.0: Strong understanding of Data Vault methodology, raw vault concepts, business vault, and consumption/semantic layers
• Snowflake: Working knowledge of Snowflake architecture, SQL, data loading patterns, and platform capabilities
• Master Data Management: Deep understanding of MDM concepts including golden records, survivorship, hierarchy management, and 360-degree views
• Data Architecture: Ability to read and understand data models, ERDs, data lineage documentation, and integration patterns

• 5+ years of project management experience in data, analytics, or enterprise integration projects
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-team technical projects from initiation through delivery
