The Opportunity: We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is perfect for an IT administrator with a strong foundational understanding of security, eager to evolve into a full-fledged security specialist. You ll play a crucial role in safeguarding our entire IT infrastructure and digital assets, including those of our valued customers.

You will be designing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge security controls and building out robust security capabilities from the ground up. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless IT operations while proactively strengthening TENEX s and our customers’ security posture against an ever-evolving threat landscape through robust engineering practices and intelligent automation.

Location: This role will require onsite in our Sarasota, FL location.

What You ll Do:

IT Systems & Network Administration:

• Administer, monitor, and optimize a wide range of essential IT systems, including communication platforms, various cloud environments (e.g., Google Cloud Platform), and other critical IT technologies.
• Manage and maintain core identity systems (e.g., Google Identity) and ensure the secure and efficient operation of our Google Workspace environment.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all managed systems through proactive monitoring, configuration management, and regular backups.
• Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT and security issues, escalating to specialized teams when necessary.

Security Engineering & Operations:

• Design, implement, and maintain a diverse suite of security tools and technologies, including next-generation firewalls, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive security gap assessments to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses, proposing and implementing effective remediation strategies.
• Actively assist with customer success initiatives by providing security expertise, integrating our solutions into customer environments, and addressing their specific security requirements.
