- Identify, research, and evaluate security solutions and emerging technologies that align with the company’s strategic direction.
- Leverage expertise of security, HTTP compliance, application-level security, and end-point protections.
- Deploy new security technologies as well as maintain current security infrastructure.
- Perform strong troubleshooting as needed, as well as knowledge in APIs.
- Interact and collaborate with other parts of the business and coordinate work with multiple teams.
High level of technical knowledge and experience with:
- Network routing (BGP, OSPF and EIGRP) and Cisco CCNP level knowledge
- Firewall concepts and functions
- Knowledge of HTTP protocol and WAF and IPS
- Proxy and user access, VPN access, both site-to-site and end user.
- GSLB, and server load balancing
- TLS knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with REST APIs and automation
- Tier 3 operational support
- Firewall: ASA, Palo Alto and Juniper SRX
- F5: ASM, DNS, APM, AFM. Knowledge of iRules
- Experience in user proxy technologies and reverse proxy solutions (Kemp/NGINX/HA Proxy)
