Overview
Our customer is looking to grow their Enterprise Service located in Kansas City, Missouri. This team is comprised of 40 Service Desk Technicians responsible for supporting the NGEN Network end‑users worldwide. The technicians field between 8‑20 tickets per day. Most start on night shifts unless a day shift opens. Ticket volume dramatically decreases overnight versus mornings. Ultimately, the ESD technician will support the Navy‑USMC in unifying its networks and data management systems to improve capability and service under one enterprise network.
Responsibilities- Provide 24/7 service desk support in a classified environment
- Handle ticket volume of 8‑20 per day using the Remedy ticketing system
- Support intranet issues, password resets, network troubleshooting, copiers, printers, scanners, etc.
- Maintain a DoD Secret clearance at minimum
- Collaborate with Windows, Linux, Oracle/SQL, Storage, Network, Desktop, Systems Applications, and Cyber teams
Skills & Qualifications
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification
- DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer‑service focus
- Problem‑solving ability
- Excellent communication, self‑management, ability to follow procedures and policies, punctuality, responsiveness
- U.S. citizenship required due to DoD clearance
- Expert level experience

Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Kansas City, MO.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $27.22 - $31.63 per hour.
