Insights Analyst

Infegy, an industry-leading social listening and insight analytics company, translates billions of consumer voices into actionable intelligence. We re seeking a driven and collaborative Insights Analyst to join our Kansas City office across from Union Station. Using Infegy Starscape as your primary platform, you ll be the voice that translates social listening insights into stories that resonate with clients, newsletter subscribers, and industry audiences.

You ll work directly with internal and external stakeholders to uncover the insights from social listening data, guiding our audience through what the conversations around brands, industries, or competitors reveal via newsletters, insights briefs, webinars, videos, and even conferences. As the author of our semi-monthly newsletter, you ll identify the most compelling trends, cultural moments, and consumer insights emerging from social media data.

You ll craft narratives that educate, engage, and demonstrate the power of social listening, Infegy Starscape, and Infegy Social Data to a broad audience. Beyond content creation, you might present at conferences or webinars, discuss use cases with clients, or even assist marketing with its traditional marketing analytics challenges.

You re as comfortable presenting to people as you are querying databases. You have a gift for storytelling. You can weave sentiment trends, conversation volumes, and emerging themes into narratives that captivate audiences and even drive decisions. You are the person who asks “Why?” when you find a result. You understand that social listening reveals consumer attitudes, brand perception, competitive dynamics, and cultural shifts.

You know how to position these insights in ways that matter to different content consumers, whether they re CMOs, brand managers, or communications teams. You re a confident communicator in writing and speaking. You can simplify complexity without losing nuance, and you know how to tailor your message to your audience, whether that s a technical client team or newsletter readers discovering social listening for the first time.

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis (experience with marketing, CRM, social media, or business analytics a plus!)
• Proven experience in data storytelling, including presentations and reports
• Strong writing skills with experience creating newsletters, reports, or thought leadership content
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, and pulling data from APIs
• Expertise in data visualization
• Portfolio demonstrating both analytical work and storytelling ability (visualizations, presentations, written content)

• Salary range of $70,000-$90,000 commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential
