Responsible for the development and integration of new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes. Provides technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline. Collaborates on an ongoing basis with the Business Systems Analyst. Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, and/or enhances existing or new systems/web pages that are reliable and efficient.

Responsible for the writing and updating full-stack applications on existing hardware and business processes. Performs Power BI dashboard development, SQL data structuring, API integrations, workflow automation, and cloud development. Experienced with Agile methodology, software lifecycle, and scrum ceremonies. Meets the educational and experience requirements below. The engineer will join an existing team and contribute across the full software development lifecycle, working primarily within a modern web application stack (Python backend with Vue frontend) deployed on cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS).

This role requires strong technical depth, ability to ramp up quickly on large and evolving codebases, and comfort working through ambiguous or evolving requirements in close collaboration with internal teams and customers.

• Define the strategic direction for enterprise software development and architecture.
• Lead organization-wide software initiatives and technology transformations.
• Ensure alignment of IT infrastructure with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a technical advisor to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive innovation in software engineering best practices, methodologies, and emerging technologies.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, Java, .NET, AWS, and cloud-based technologies.
• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices, cloud automation, ERP integration, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SCADA operations, Power BI, AWS Glue, Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements like SOX and cybersecurity best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience leading enterprise-level IT infrastructure, software development, and data architecture.
• Certifications preferred: AWS, Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, IT Project Management (PMP, Agile, SAFe);
  Dev Ops methodologies.
• Experience with Agile methodology, software lifecycle, and scrum ceremonies.
