Welcome to MFour!

Our Story

Founded in 2011, MFour is a fast‑growing data and analytics technology company “democratizing” consumer insights. Named a 2023 “top 25 L.A. tech companies to watch,” by Built In, we’ve created a SaaS ecosystem, giving businesses access to united shopper behavior + opinion data that uncovers the whos, whats, whys, whens, and wheres behind consumers in ways never before possible. We help 25% of the Fortune 100 plus organizations of all sizes make product, brand, and advertising decisions.

MFour is trusted by hundreds of leading brands, including Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Walmart, Disney, Spotify, and Lowe’s.

Our Core Values

Your Journey to Success

MFour collects and manages a wide range of consumer data — including survey, app, web, location, purchase, and behavioral signals. To ensure this data is trusted, compliant, and usable for analytics, AI, and client‑facing products, we are creating a Data Governance Analyst / Manager role.

This role will define, implement, and enforce data governance standards across the organization, ensuring that internal practices, third‑party partnerships, and global compliance requirements are consistently met.

Your Mission
  • Establish and maintain company-wide data governance standards covering data access, retention, security, privacy, and usage.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
, including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and other domestic or international privacy laws.
  • Define data stewardship and ownership responsibilities for internal teams and third‑party partners.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to governance policies, flagging and remediating issues proactively.
  • Serve as the central authority on data compliance standards
, advising product, engineering, operations, and analytics teams.
  • Support the organization in embedding governance into all data processes
, ensuring consistency, transparency, and accountability.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and playbooks for all consumer data assets.
  • Define and implement standards for data quality, access, security, and usage.
  • Partner with third‑party data providers to ensure their practices align with MFour standards.
  • Maintain awareness of domestic and international data privacy regulations and translate them into actionable internal policies.
  • Conduct audits and monitoring to ensure compliance with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to train staff and promote best practices in data governance.
  • Provide reporting and documentation on governance compliance to executive leadership.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience in data governance, compliance, or data stewardship in a consumer data or technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of compliance standards and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with data classification, access control, retention policies, and audit processes.
  • Experience managing third‑party data providers or vendor compliance.
  • Ability to communicate governance requirements clearly across technical and non‑technical teams.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of establishing structure in a fast‑growing organization.
In return for your dedication, we offer
  • Salary:
This role pays an hourly rate equivalent to an annual salary range of $80,000–$110,000
    , based on a full‑time schedule.
  • Additional benefits:
Open space concept & team‑focused atmosphere, company‑wide celebrations.
