Under general supervision, the IT Systems Administrator – Operations supports technology integration activities associated with mergers, acquisitions, and new office onboarding. This role is responsible for transitioning systems to firm standards, executing document conversion processes, ensuring system readiness, and resolving technical issues throughout the integration lifecycle. The position requires advanced knowledge of firm systems, in‑depth understanding of document transition and import processes, expert‑level technical proficiency, highly effective troubleshooting abilities, and exceptional time‑management skills to meet project deadlines and support a seamless onboarding experience.
CompensationBase pay range: $38.25/hr – $58.00/hr.
Primary Responsibilities- System Readiness
:
Ensure all systems for new offices are transitioned, fully operational on firm networks, and accessible to users within established timelines. - Testing & Validation
:
Participate in testing, validating, and confirming the functionality of integration solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and quality standards. - Task Prioritization
:
Manage workload effectively by prioritizing tasks, setting realistic goals, and meeting deadlines established by project leadership and the Manager. - Travel
:
Provide onsite integration support as needed for M&A activities and adhere to all travel guidelines and requirements. - User Support
:
Deliver customer‑focused assistance to new users during onboarding, reinforcing training team messaging to ensure consistency and a cohesive user experience. - M&A Execution
:
Complete all assigned integration and migration tasks, verify successful completion, and identify necessary post‑migration actions. Communicate feedback and recommendations to improve future processes. - Communication & Issue Escalation
:
Proactively communicate status updates and elevate any issues, risks, or potential delays that may affect project deadlines to the Manager, ensuring timely awareness and support for resolution. - Documentation
:
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for integration processes, best practices, workflows, and system configurations. - Performance Monitoring
:
Monitor the performance of integrated systems and apply updates or modifications to optimize functionality and stability.
Experience, Skills &
Competencies:
- Experience
:
Minimum of 4+ years in IT system administration with direct responsibilities for system readiness, user onboarding, and technical troubleshooting in fast‑paced, service‑oriented environments; prior experience within a law firm or corporate legal department is strongly preferred. - System Integration & Technical Expertise
:
Advanced knowledge of firm systems, integration processes, and document transition/import workflows. Strong proficiency in system configuration, validation, and operational readiness activities for newly onboarded offices. - Troubleshooting & Problem‑Solving
:
Demonstrated ability to diagnose system issues accurately, implement timely resolutions, and apply workarounds when needed to maintain project momentum. - Communication & Collaboration
:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical users and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and external vendors. - Workflow & Process Efficiency
:
Proven capacity to develop, maintain, and enhance scalable workflows that promote efficiency, accuracy, and consistency during integration cycles. - Follow‑Through & Accountability

Ensures all post‑integration and post‑migration tasks are completed thoroughly and documented as required. - Independence & Initiative
