Network Engineer

• Deploy, install, and configure hardware such as firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers, IPS, network monitoring systems and other network security related products.
• Write functional requirements/specifications documents for network projects and initiatives.
• Perform network maintenance activities - upgrade network hardware, IOS upgrades and network routing configuration implementations and modifications.
• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate, diagnose and resolve common and complex network problems.
• Develop and implement network acceptance test plans for new network builds.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
• Execute plans for data center fabric changes for VXLANs, BGP and OSPF environments.
• Execute work to best practices process & procedures.
• Ensure that all records are updated following any configurations.
• Responsible for solutions (copper/fiber patch leads, patch panels, connectors, etc.) and report appropriately.

• A minimum of five years of work as a network engineer.
• Experience with a broad range of hardware;
  Cisco, Juniper and Arista.
• Configuration experience of Cisco and Arista networking equipment.
• Deep understanding of IP networks.
• Experience of working in an ITIL controlled environment with knowledge of Change Control, Incident Management & Problem Management processes.
