Housekeeping Rooms Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Housekeeping Rooms Inspector to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms meet our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will contribute significantly to providing an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are met
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate departments
  • Verify that all amenities, linens, and supplies are properly stocked and arranged
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies
  • Document inspection results and communicate findings to management
  • Assist in training and mentoring housekeeping staff on inspection procedures and standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in housekeeping, hotel operations, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards, safety protocols, and hospitality industry regulations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in hospitality or quality inspection is a plus
  • 2+ years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in using housekeeping management systems or mobile task tracking apps is a plus

Working Conditions
