** Position Summary
** To be successful in this position, the candidate must have demonstrated experience with contract management, including health plan operations, understanding benefits, regulatory requirements, and annual readiness. The SMAC Lead is responsible for managing the State Medicaid Agency Contract (SMAC) lifecycle and ensuring compliance with CMS requirements. This role drives coordination across functional areas to implement SMAC requirements accurately and on time.
* ** Document Comparison:
** Review and compare SMAC documents for accuracy and compliance with CMS standards.
* ** Requirements Communication:
** Translate state and CMS requirements into actionable tasks for functional teams; maintain clarity and consistency in communications.
* ** Meeting Facilitation:
** Organize and lead cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on SMAC requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
* ** Timeliness & Tracking:
** Monitor deadlines using dashboards and Quickbase; escalate delays and ensure adherence to submission timelines.
* ** Quality Assurance:
** Conduct internal reviews (IIR) and coordinate second opinions for high-risk language.
* ** Reporting:
** Prepare status updates and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders.
** Required Qualifications**- At least 5 years of managing contract management.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact and influence at various levels of the organization.

- Ability to work independently and to recognize and resolve issues.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
** Preferred Qualifications**- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid program requirements
- At least 5 years of CMS compliance and DSNP integration requirements.
** Education
* * Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and recent, related experience
** Pay Range
** The typical pay range for this role is:$67,900.00 - $This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
