Summary
:
Under the direction of medical oncology leadership, the medical assistant is responsible for ensuring efficient flow of patients through the clinic setting by facilitating examinations and treatment of patients while exhibiting exceptional customer service. This position performs a wide variety of medical and clinical support functions in a physician office setting, such as providing initial patient triage, scheduling, and administrative services, assisting with direct patient care, and performing specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as determined by established clinical protocols, policies and procedures.
2 or more years of experience in a physician's office setting in a similar role.
OtherBasic office skills, patient centered mindset, excellent time management and organization skills; ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment.
License / CertificationRequired:
BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
Required:
High School Related Field, Equivalent Experience - Medical Assisting
