Medcor is looking to hire an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis (as‑needed) to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Kansas City, MO, Northland Area
.

Hours:

Monday – Saturday 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM, night shifts also available. Days and hours may change or vary based on client needs.

Applicants should be comfortable working in a construction environment, able to climb stairs and work at heights as needed.

• Collaborate with Medcor medical and operational leadership, local medical providers and client staff.
• Provide patient care, ongoing workers’ compensation case management, RTW program facilitation and treatment plan monitoring.
• Work closely with outside medical providers.

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
• Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols).
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
• Documentation of care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools.
• Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
• Case management.
• Medical charting.
• OSHA record‑keeping.

• Proper licensure for the position you are applying for.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to have fun.

• Comfortable working in a construction environment.
• Familiarity with EMR software and computer skills.
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
