Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 Hourly (starting)

• Oversee clients in daily activities while teaching new skills, ensuring safety, and managing behaviors.
• Plan activities, reinforce treatment plans, and document all client-related information.
• Direct supervise and ensure safety of all clients.
• Use behavior management techniques to address behaviors.
• Build healthy relationships with clients and model healthy behaviors.
• Use treatment plan knowledge to support activities.
• Creatively structure activities for groups and conduct psycho‑educational groups.
• May be responsible for medication administration and other medical support.
• Review/write all required documentation.
• Teach, guide, and assist clients in daily life skills appropriate for age.
• Provide 24‑hour awake supervision.
• May assist classroom teacher with classroom duties.
• Manage clients courteously and tactfully while on agency property.

• At least 21 years of age, pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
• A valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• 2 years of relevant experience working with children (required).

• High school diploma.
• Preferred: two years’ experience working with children.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in social services, child development, or criminal justice.
• Preferred: two years’ experience working with children.
