Summer Scholars – Final date to receive applications
Summer Scholars – Accepting applications until February 15.
OverviewUnder the supervision of a CMRI investigator, the Summer Scholars will receive training in the techniques necessary to assist with research studies specifically designed for this program. These full‑time positions will begin on June 1 and will last ten to twelve weeks, depending on individual student availability.
Applicants are requested to rank their top three selections from the following divisions:
- Neonatology
- Center for Children’s Healthy Lifestyles and Nutrition
- Radiology
- Developmental Medicine
- Clinical Pharmacology, Toxicology & Therapeutic Innovation
- Health Services and Outcomes Research
- Palliative Care and Bioethics
- Genomic Medicine Center
- Emergency Medicine & Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine
- Health Services and Outcomes Research & Ear, Nose and Throat
- Heart Center/Cardiology
- Attend educational and professional development activities
- Prepare and analyze study samples
- Conduct interviews or observations with study participants
- Compile and analyze data for research studies
- Present study findings at the end‑of‑program capstone event
- HS diploma or equivalent and enrollment in an undergraduate program with a minimum 3.0 GPA

Starting PayOur pay range is market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $18.00/hr.
Remote WorkThis position is not eligible to work remotely. The person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
