Our Thrive Center is a short-term mental health residential treatment program that diverts individuals from hospitalization. We provide intensive therapeutic services for clients, including clinical case management, therapy, group opportunities, and medication management. Our clients benefit from a collaborative treatment team that offers individualized care tailored to their needs.
What You'll Do- Monitors clients in a safe environment, performing and documenting client safety rounds. This includes ADL monitoring and coaching (e.g., life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.).
- Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan.
- Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests, and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of the program space.
- Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records.
- Availability to work a Full Time schedule (40 hours per week) Monday‑Friday 3:00pm‑11:30pm; all new hires are required to attend a one‑week ReDiscover orientation as part of the onboarding process.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid Missouri Class E automobile operator’s license (or equivalent license in another state).
- Must carry all appropriate insurance on the vehicle being driven, necessary to comply with Missouri or Kansas state law.
- Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
